Christopher S. Perrie, DDS, MD
Dr. Christopher Perrie was born and raised in Orange County, CA. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. He went on to pursue his dental degree at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. There he was elected into membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national dental honor society reserved for those graduates in the top 12% of their graduating class. He then matriculated at the University of Pennsylvania, where he obtained his medical degree and completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. This rigorous six-year program included training at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Hospital, and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, covering a broad scope of the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
After completing residency in 2008, he remained as a full-time faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center for a year and a half prior to going into private practice. He is currently a part-time Clinical Associate in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he enjoys instructing dental students.
Dr. Perrie is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Pennsylvania Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, children and two pugs, grilling, and avidly following college football (especially his alma mater, USC).
